- About this game:
"Baba Yaga and the Magic Geese" is the second part of the "Magic Tales" series. It is based on Russian folklore and tells the story of a girl, Tasha, whose little brother Niki is kidnapped by magic geese for the evil witch Baba Yaga. When Tasha gets him out of Baba Yaga's hut, they receive magical help from a stream of milk, an apple tree and an oven, which allows them to escape and safely return home, while the evil witch lands on a lonely island.
The Magic Tales series includes six interactive storybooks, based on fairy tales from different parts of the world. They are all framed as stories read by Grandpa Mouse to his grandchildren. Each story consists of twelve pages and if Play mode is selected, the player can also click on different parts of the scenery to see what will happen.

1:30 In a simple wooden cottage there lived a girl, Tasha, and her family. One day, Tasha was left alone to mind her brother.
2:19 Tasha soon forgot about little Niki. Baba Yaga's magic geese swooped down and snatched him away.
3:23 Tasha searched and searched the forest, calling her brother's name.
5:23 Through the window Tasha watched. the witch and her geese. Tasha waited for them to step outside.
6:50 When they had gone, Tasha tiptoed into the hut. Trapped in a cage of bones sat little Niki. She snatched the boy and away they ran.
7:30 The children dashed through Baba Yaga's enchanted garden. They had almost escaped when suddenly Baba Yaga and the geese appeared.
8:36 Niki and Tasha ran deep into the forest until they chanced upon a talking stream. Drink my magic milk and I'll hide you, it said.
10:02 Soon the children found themselves in a grove of trees. A kind old apple ce offered to help them.
11:15 Finally the children entered a clearing where they saw an enchanted oven. It saved them from Baba Yaga.
