The biggest level up from a decent drafter to a great one is realising that drafting good cards is not enough to become an exceptional player. Truly great drafters are able to sacrifice power for synergy and know exactly when to do it and when not to. This ability lets you get more out of the cards in your decks and win games because of those synergistic interactions and consistent goals and plans across every card in your deck.
But easier said than done. Today I look at the ways to use game data from 17Lands.com in order to figure out, what are the plans for different archetypes and how to use that data to improve your understanding of different archetypes and individual cards.
