So... When COVID-19 first hit, performing musicians were hit pretty hard. Im a member of The Krew (a Utah-based rock band) and the bassist of our band is Kyle McCann (who is equal parts awesome musician and awesome person) One day, Kyle sent out a social media message wanting to collaborate. Within a week, 20 to 30 people had responded. I thought, Wow! This is gonna be awesome! A week later, nothing had happened, so I sent Kyle a drum track. Another week went by, and nothing happened. Eventually, Kyle sent me back a rockin guitar / bass part that made my musically creative parts tingle. I asked if anyone else had come forth to participate, and he said nobody had (whaaat??? After so many had said they were excited to participate??), so I decided to add another guitar part, lyrics, melody, harmonies, and give it a fresh coat of paint and here we are!
This is the newest installment of Magic Jones Originals, which is all about taking the initiative and DOING something. Fate is an illusion. Grab the reins. Find your spark, then get up and change the world!

The Shore Line was probably the hardest song for me to write, because more than half-way through the song, I had no idea what I was writing. Its interesting that songs can make manifest what is hidden deep, as was the case with this song. It could have easily been named, The Razors Edge, too... Gotta be careful, or ya might get cut.
