EDIT (26/03/19): The developer has informed me that the game should autosave when entering combat unless the option has been turned off.
"The autosave file appears on the right-hand page with a thumbnail screenshot, rather than at the top of your savegames list on the left-hand page."

UPDATE: the 'no combat' patch discussed in the video has been released. Update the game and you should be able to enable this option if you wish.

Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements was released by Himalaya Studios in 2019.
It is available for purchase on Steam, for Windows, Mac OS, SteamOS and Linux.
