Madeline's neighbor, who takes care of animals, is about to lose her home, but staging a puppet show could bring in the money needed so he can pay the rent to keep living there with his animals. Madeline and various kids journey through Paris in the neighborhood of her boarding school with different learning activities presented as mini-games and collecting items such as curtains, a cape, a chain, bread, gumballs, a balloon and puppets for the show along the way.
Madeline and the Magnificent Puppet Show is an educational game for children aged five and up. It is based on the 1939 Madeline book by Ludwig Bemelmans, which also spawned a media franchise and a US TV series. The game was released to coincide with the premiere of the animated TV series The New Adventures of Madeline.
After entering a name the player chooses to play the game with French or Spanish words. Madeline can freely explore the different environments and clicking hotspots triggers short animations in the background. She meets various characters she can talk to. Madeline learns new words in French or Spanish by spelling them and then plays a matching game in the classroom to practice them. With an artist in the street she can freely paint backdrops for the show. At the print shop Madeline creates invitations for the show and decorates them. A large part of the game plays out as a simple adventure game with minor puzzles too. It ends with the show being performed.
Skills that are developed are creativity (painting, design and sticker activities), problem solving (critical thinking, logic and memory), spelling, typing, and vocabulary (300 new words in French, English and Spanish). The game also lists cooperation, kindness & compassion as skills that are built.

I ran this game on Windows 95 because the game came out around the timeframe that people would be using that operating system. It however runs with less MIDI glitches on Windows 98 for me. Also, please don't quit the game 😬. Your progress will be lost, even if you opt to load an old game.

![Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - Sids Early Start (2009, PC)
Sids Early Start: The first level shows Sid, Crash and Eddie trying to find presents for Ellie for the coming of her baby. It is kind of a tutorial level. The three go up a ledge and find a floating crystal. Sid manages to get it, but falls down the ledge. Next, Sid, Crash, and Eddie go up to another ledge and find another crystal. Sid falls down once again and lands on a seesaw with a rock on it. The rock falls down and propels Sid and he crashes near Manny and Ellie. The gang then continue to the cliff, where the third and last crystal is. Sid must now defeat birds (Dodo Birds?) to get the crystal. Crash and Eddie say to Sid how he should be good about himself. Sid walks toward the crystal, but the ice breaks. He slides down the cliff to where Manny and Ellie is. Ellie thanks Sid, Crash and Eddie for the crystals.

Game information
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (or Ice Age 3) is a video game based on movie with the same name. It was released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, and PC by Activision on June 30, 2009, 1 day before the movies release. It is the sequel to the Ice Age 2 video game which is based on Ice Age: The Meltdown.
Most of the cast from the movie voiced the characters in the game, with the exceptions of Denis Leary, Simon Pegg (who both had prior commitments to attend to)[2] and Sean William Scott.
Gameplay
The game allows the player to take control of Manny, Sid, Diego, Scrat, Scratte, and Buck as you take on or run away from dangerous dinosaurs, roll an egg to safety, chase for your beloved acorn, and explore caves and jungles over fifteen levels. However, some characters are just for tiny parts in the game, like Manny and Diego. The main character in the game is Buck. There are eight mini-games to play either in single-player mode or with friends in multiplayer and get things from Fast Tony. In the multiplayer mode you can play as Mini-sloths and Baby Dinos. There are three different bosses in the game: Ankylosaurus, Chasmosaurus and Rudy.

The cutscenes between the levels show Sid and Diego telling Peaches a bed time story with the walls showing what their talking about, similar to cavemen drawings.
