I had leftover junk bits from an AT-AP Star Wars walker that I used in my last build and one of the junk bits looked like a Star Wars speeder bike to me. When you get a toy at the thrift store for $2.99 and get two custom toy builds out of it, that's a good day. This little toy mashup/scratch build came together pretty easy and in the end I think I have a pretty cool little speeder bike.
