I use a discussion between Maddox and Rucka Rucka Ali as a backboard against which to explain some metaphysical and epistemological points from the perspective of Ayn Rand's philosophy, Objectivism. Topics include the validity of the senses, the false dichotomy of naive realism vs. constructivism, the practical use of the law of identity, and the objectivity of ethics.
