As the very first female Chap-Hop artist, Madam misfit has been making waves on the scene for several years now.
Finally, her long awaited follow up album to her debut “Elixir of Swing” is upon us and it’s most definitely worth the wait.
Pandoras Box” is a ten- track album taking you on a musical journey from bass-driven jazz as heard in “The Grinch” through to a Swing-Hop remix of Mozart in “Happy to Hold”. The theme throughout is driven by her hypnotic positive vibes.
Alongside several brand-new tracks, the album brings on board some of Madam Misfit’s favourite singles from the past two years, such as “Skin You’re In” and “The Wombling Song”. Both have become anthems at her shows and were just as well received as her collaboration with fellow Electro Swing band “Victor and the Bully” with their haunting track “Trick or Treat” which made huge waves on Spotify for Spooky season.
On the production side, Madam Misfit has joined forces with Emma Clair, Odd Chap, Wolfgang Lohr, and many more of the finest producers in the Electro Swing universe, to “add to the chaos within” as she describes her inner world and work process.
Madam Misfit is well known for her charms, humour and quirkiness which never seize to help her express even more serious matters in a way that puts a big smile on one’s face.
So, no wonder “Skin You’re In”, the single that stands out the most and has ultimately moved her to release the album, is a soulful selflove anthem, that reminds you to accept yourself just the way you are, despite all the apparent flaws.
Promoting positivity and confidence through music is Madam Misfit’s entire vision behind this album she has gifted to us.
Or to put it in her own words: “I present this gift to you I cannot be held responsible for the chaos that is about to be released”
With all this being said, the question on everyone’s lips must be: Who exactly is Madam Misfit? “Shes a wild card, the black sheep, a freak, a weirdo, and you know.... I kinda like it that way!”

Blended ever so beautifully by the one and only ODD CHAP with this smooth Swing Hop beat.

Its that time of the year where things start to get a little spooky, and Madam Misfit has certainly ticked that box in her brand new collaboration with fellow Steampunk artists “Victor and the Bully”
Halloween 2020 saw both artists release equally spooky tracks, “Feels a Little Strange” is still one of Madam Misfits most streamed tracks and VATB were welcomed with their first release on to Electroswing Thing label with “Heebie Jeebies”, a huge hit for their big fan base.
With the bar set high for the pair to better their previous spine tingling tracks they decided what better than to join forces to release “TRICK OR TREAT” - Due to be released October 20th
Toe tapping bass lines, ghostly riffs and close harmonies teamed with Victor Ghastlys production and vocals, we know that this is a Halloween track right from the off. #TrickOrTreat 🎃 💀 🦇 👻 😈 🌕 📣 Boo!

Madam Misfit announces her long awaited debut album, “Elixir of Swing,” describing the album as “mischievous with a splash of absurdity”.
Encompassing an array of styles, the album taps in to Electro Swing, Hip Hop and Rap. Tagged as the first female Chap Hop artist, Madam Misfits debut is a cocktail of British humour and whit twinned with some exciting fresh beats.
The album touches on both personal and shared experiences from being a fiery red head to living the busy, stressed out life of a mother. Her lyrics touch on issues such as bullying and diversity in a truly unique way that only she could muster. While each track has its own unique flavour, when brought together in the shaker, they evolve to create Madam Misfits signature “Elixir of Swing.”
