LOGLINE: A tantalizing clue that could lead to the location of Captain Kidd’s legendary hidden treasure takes history buff Alexandria on a quest from Portugal to exotic Madagascar. There she tries to resolve the mystery of the treasure, but must also escape a pursuit by a trio of deadly soldiers of fortune.

Ater making two suspense-thriller movies in the past two years, I’ve learned a great deal about how to design stories and films that will have the best shot at selling to the widest audience – not just in North America, but around the world.
We’ve won dozens of awards at int’l festivals for our films - and that’s great - but I’ve also been spending time at the huge film markets, like the Cannes Film Market, the European Film Market and the American Film Market. I’ve listened carefully to comments from dozens of distributors and their buyers, as well as audience members and film reviewers.
Along with my producers and writers, my foremost goal is to design a movie that will grab and hold the attention of viewers quickly. To make movies that are designed to work effectively for today’s viewing audience.
It’s exciting to tell a story of characters trying to piece together a mystery as they also struggle to sort out treasure clues, find love and possibly betrayals. We will hook and hold the audience in the first few minutes.
Our new movie, “Madagascar Gold,” fits into that description. Described by one film previewer as a cross between “National Treasure” and “Da Vinci Code,” it’s the kind of film I really want to see - and take my friends along too. A 2nd script draft us now being completed. Our company, Living Dangerously Films is busy in pre-production on this new movie – with a planned production in Madagascar and Portugal - beginning October 2025.
