Tonight at the Champaign County Fair, the DerbyDog Demolition Derby isn't just about crashes, destruction and hard hits — there's also a special piece of local derby history being honored. ❤️🏁

This is the Mad Chilly Dog Award, presented in memory of Chilton Jackson, who was part of the Champaign County demolition derby community.

The award has been carried on for years as a way to keep his memory alive, and this year's trophy is another incredible tribute. 🏆

🔧 One of the awards was made by Mackenzie, using donated spare parts and pieces with a story behind them.

Tonight, the trophy will be part of the DerbyDog Demolition Derby at the Champaign County Fair — bringing together the community, derby fans and competitors for a night of serious destruction! 💥🚗🔥
