Speaking on the fringes of the 19th Francophonie summit, French President Emmanuel Macron expresses reservations about the decision of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to send troops on ground operations into Lebanon, adding that he will be meeting with the families of the Franco-Israeli victims of the 7 October attack on the anniversary of the attack. Macron earlier called for a halt in arms sales to Israel, prompting swift criticism from Netanyahu.
