This is a short video to give you a feel for the sights, etc. of Mackinaw City, Michigan. Located on the Straits of Mackinac, where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron come together it is an historical place particularly as it relates to the War of 1812. The Mackinac Bridge ("Mighty Mac") is located here and connects Michigan's upper peninsula with the lower portion of the state. Three miles off-shore is Mackinac Island, a popular tourist attraction, where no motorized vehicles are allowed... only horse and wagons and lots of bicycles. The island is routinely on lists of the most popular island destinations in the world. Fudge is the most popular comfort food in the area!
