The big molding press project continues with the machining of the platens. The 3 plates needed holes drilled and bored in them for mounting the support rods, as well as the hardware for making the press move, not to mention the mold itself. Machining is easy when it's aluminum, but it's much more fun when it's aluminum that you recycled and casted yourself!
