My number one laptop rec is the MacBook Air, it does almost anything, and a cheap adapter covers HDMI to your TV.

Someone said they just want surfing, movies, and studying but would rather spend more on a Pro than feel bad with the cheaper one. The Air really isn't the lesser option here, it's more than good enough. The Pro's built-in HDMI and fan are nice, but I value the Air's portability and you save some money. Air or Pro for you?
