Earlier this year I was music and sound guy during the Global Game Jam 2021! We had a game with an aesthetic inspired by old-school top-down Zelda games, so I channeled Links Awakening! Live accordion and whistles in a cosy fantasy style, accompanied by Kokiri Forest-style harpsichord, percussion and some flügelhorn for that nostalgic warmth =) .

I already arranged the new awesome erhu and sax material featured in the Main Theme when it was shown off in the Gameplay Demonstration, but had to bluff part of it =P . This is the longest medley Ive done so far! Because I was already quite happy with the recordings Id made of the individual pieces the past months (and because this wouldve been a GARGANTUAN undertaking otherwise) I decided to take those recordings, trim them down in length and record all-new transition and ending segments to provide unity. Its an experimental Frankenstein situation!
