My new Super Mario Bros. Warpless TAS WIP: worlds 1-1, 1-2, 1-4, 2-2 and 2-3. Zdoroviy Antony 2019-08-25 | Even when warpless TAS is not perfect it is still multiplie times better then anything I done before, because it is very long TAS with hard timesaves and I hope to do a lot of entertianment there.Hidden 1-3, because it have too good framerule save to show early and no 2-1, because entertainment is not finished there.However this 5 levels are enough to show all basic movement optimization comparing to my old warpless TAS. It means perfect fast acceleration everywhere: at normal start, coming out of pipe, start of 1-2, start of X-4, enterting water level (this one is actually few frames faster then old) and fast acceleration from flagpole to the castle.Perfect 1-1 pipe clip is exactly 21 frames slower then normal run through. I thought it was too slow, until Kosmic reminded me about timer countdown, which is 1 frame faster, because I lost 1 time unit by clip. It was actually a miracle that he told me that, because he did clip in his stream for fun, so I told him about this clip in TAS and said it was 21 frames slower. Then he said it might be more then 21, because of timer countdown, but I knew it is 21 at underground, so it is just enough to save framerule.1-2 is same with WIP, I uploaded previously. Additional stair jump at start and wins on enemies. In 1-4 I changed entertainment with crouch jumps at bowser fight, I hope you will like it. In 2-2 I tried to do some music synchronization. TAS Super Mario Bros 3. 7-1 Game End Glitch in 2:56.493 Zdoroviy Antony 2019-08-18 | 3:00.819 with normal RTA timing, 5.757 seconds slower then Lord Tom and Tompa's TAS. My timing starts at the first frame, when clicking on map is possible.It was very hard to complete my first SMB3 TAS. It is even harder then perfect TAS for SMB1.At 1-1 there is very hard combination at start to slow down as much as possible without delaying P-speed to avoid pipe plant and block after. Done as perfect as in WR TAS. Then falling trough blcok saved 2 pixels somehow. Then mushroom grab is very very hard, because SMB3 P-speed is much faster then full speed in SMB1, so grabbing power up like that is lot less obvious. However, it is still not perfect, but it is fast enough for 1st SMB3 TAS. 1-2 done absolutely perfectly. The 1st challenge is to get as much speed from sliding as possible and not hit the pipe after jump. It is easy to have "59" speed, but getting "60" needs very hard optimization of subpixels before starting sliding. The 2nd challenge is that even with perfect jumps speed can decelrate by1 value every time. To not lose it, we need to jump at certain frames, which happens very rarely. Also boosting on enemies helps a lot through level, so the route can't be obviously changed for different entertainment, it needs to be something like that.5 frames delayed before enterting 1-3, it was done by accident, but ended up as blessing, because of RNG everywhere. The level needs lucky pattern to bounce high on the enemy and grab shell faster. Then just small optimizations of flying with tail and activating secret room.In 1-F very hard combination to not activate P-speed to early, because it would be killed later in more important parts for it. But we need to have good P-meter to activate it for the moments and then lose it again. Then 7-1 wrong warp setup similar to RTA world record. The hardest part of it is kicking final shell and do the pipe glitch at the frame, when shell reaching exact x-position. This is also the only unRTAble part of this setup.

Probably the best for SMB TASing, at least in my career so far. Summing up all combinations to complete level 6 frames faster then in previous version, it is even harder then perfect 8-4 turnaound. This TAS is 9 frames behind next framerule, which done in world record, founded by MrWint. But WR TAS using completely different setup for avoiding firebar then I did with different position on screen after clip. I didn't even tested it and don't want on this step, because this level is already one of the best timesaves I got in TAS so far and looks like my new warpless TAS is already first time I'm doing legend historical run, thanks God for this gift! Very few people can get so fast warpless TAS.The reason why this TAS is so good is that very much things goes on here. Fast acceleration at start can't be done perfectly fast, because Mario would fall down, so we need to found balance.Then clip needs to be done as fast as possible, including fast L+R presses for fast acceleration inside wall. Then perfect subpixel and speed manipulation to go down in as left position as possible. This time I used crouch to jump. It not makes falling down faster, but makes Mario avoid bump into wall and accelerate very much before even touching the ground. 2 backward jumps still better in order to continue backward condition, while keeping building speed to full. Then avoiding firebar by crouch jump, crouch and crouch jump again - fastest way with this position. And bowser was in very hard position there, so fight was barely won, by shooting final fireball in last possible frame. If try to shoot it 1 frame earlier, it wouldn't work, because of too much fireballs on a row.Glory to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit!

Pressing down makes falling down faster, which also faster then standart vine glitch from old warpless TAS, because it opens possibilty of accelerates on the ground faster. But it is slower then UP press, because previous stair prevents to build speed immideately. Start acceleration making saving 1-1 framerule easier, we don't need so perfect underground. Flagpole glitch is still uncomparably hardest part of run, but I also did L+R fast accel in 1-4 (main reason of L+R, almost impossible without it. Eventually I was 1 frame slower then perfect and best frame is rtable, we don't even need perfect fast accel to get 1:58.17, so I want to try it.Also we don't need to small jump in 1-4 fast accel, 4 frames jump is actually best, becuase bump to brick. It's harder then other FPG's. because it's basicly impossible subpixel to do FPG and we need to avoid fireworks. So I did full jump at the start, and to all perfections you need for FPG (like 5 frame perfect inputs) added another one - I need to stop press right for exactly 2/60 second. Possible with 1/60 or 3/60, but very unlikely. This is one of hardest tricks, used in current Super Mario Bros World Record by somewes. (44.543) SMB1 world 8-4 speedrun (Left+right/single-segment/RTA) Zdoroviy Antony 2017-12-24 | Thanks to God, Who gave me this power and possibilities!Got 3 PB's in one day! First was 44.643 pretty good run. Second was 44.593 and it was absolutely insane pace, after 3d room I was 1 frame away No left+right world record, but got very slow water and lost frames on axe. The walljump room was 8-B after 8-A.This one is tie with No left+right WR by kosmic after 3d room, lost 5 frames at the water, but saved 2 frames by left+right fast accel at the final room. SO, IT IS ONLY 3 FRAMES SLOWER THEN NO LEFT+RIGHT WORLD RECORD. Really solid place in world leaderboard, probably 3d after kosmicd12 and StuckInAPlate, but this run using left+right, which makes faster acceleration little bit easier and faster (only for 1 frame at the 1st room, 2 at 2nd and 3d, 2 at the final, in theory.I used 4 faster accelerations and backward walljump in 1 run! That's actually first 8-4 run ever with 4 accels.Glory to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit!
TAS NES Super Mario Bros No kills in 04:54.73 (WR) Zdoroviy Antony 2017-12-23 | Only 1 frame improved from previous TAS, like in my any%. It is the same turn round frame, which was crazy, even with copying almost all inputs. Also I did very nice improvement at the entertainment, I hope.
(24.992) SMB1 Beat 1-1 as Fire Mario Zdoroviy Antony 2017-12-19 | I thought it was TWR, but start frame in Bizhawk is 195 instead of 197 in fceux. Timed as correctly as my previous PB, it is 1 frame PB and I'm now 2nd person in the world, who beat 1-1 as Fire Mario in 25 seconds.Woooh! I need time to be good streamer, which I haven't much. So will see in future, cn I be legend and popular speedruner. I hope, yes.
