As the title says, this is an M240 machinegun with a Gemtech suppressor mounted. The shooters were not experts, just testing it out. I was floored at how it essentially eliminated several things you normally get with full-power MG's: Muzzle Blast, Flash, Recoil, Noise, and Dust Signature. Now, it does not "Silence" the report, it merely reduces it to a tolerable level and hides the direction the shot is coming from. Since the supersonic crack of the bullet is louder than the sound coming from the muzzle, it's difficult to locate the shooting position.
