A week ago I bought my starter pack and started to explore the Universe of Star Citizen :) I recorded some clips and wanted to share them with you. I just love the amazing graphics when you fly to a planet and land there. The downside are the relatively low frames overall and the frame drops to almost unplayable 5 fps but the game is in alpha and they are still working on the performance and the netcode.

I made this video to share the feeling I had, when I first saw these amazing scenes. My plan was to make a cinematic video about this game but I have to record more and better clips for it so maybe in the future.

I edited and upload the footage in 4K even though the recorded clips are 1080 but I wanted to have the best quality possible ....so if you have a good internet connection, try to watch in 4K :)
I hope it makes a different in quality also in 1080p!

Star Citizen is a crowdfunded massively multiplayer, space trading and combat game. The developers want to make the best space game ever. Again ...it's still in alpha so don't expect a finished game.
It doesn't run smooth all the time, even on very good gamer PC's. If you have a very fast CPU and GPU and at least 16GB of RAM you can expect like 25 to 60 fps but that depend on the server you are connected to and frame drops are always possible. Also it's recommended to install the game to a SSD.
