Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a side-scrolling platform game released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch on October 20, 2023.[25] First announced during the June 2023 Nintendo Direct, it is the twenty-seventh installment in the Super Mario series.
In addition to being backwards compatible on the Nintendo Switch 2, an enhanced version of the game for the system titled Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is set to be released on March 26, 2026 as part of the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary celebration.
