I don't know much about making computers, but I sure learned a lot when The Verge tried to make one. Tells you a lot about the credibility of these "tech reporters", which, in case you didn't already know, are run by Vox (which should be warning enough already). Their "how-to guide" video was posted September 13th, 2018, and less than a week later, Vox would take down this video, accuse it's critics of toxicity, harassment, and racism, before ultimately issuing illicit copyright takedown notices to Youtubers who posted responses addressing it's various errors, poor instruction, and misinformation. The Verge cited "editorial standards" as the reason for retracting the video, but that evidently hasn't stopped them before and it wasn't until an informed audience revealed their entire company to be a sham that they did anything about it.
Please Remember: The Verge is a company of Vox journalists, they are not to be considered in touch with any dimension of reality.

The results were less than glamorous. Ironically, despite crediting himself for being "tech savvy", Linus repeatedly demonstrated that he has next to no intuition when it comes to software, and this arrogance would cause him to make a great many silly mistakes over the course of this challenge. His genuine ignorance, on the other hand, reveals how silly and unintuitive Linux often actually is, even by the standards of battle-scarred Linux users. This compilation is intended to cut both ways; by offering insight into how users can improve their Linux experience, as well as how Linux can improve it's user experience.
Note: I wanted to include the Twitter anecdote about developing for Linux, but I dropped it because it impacted the pace of the video too much.

Well, for my two cents, this is the best I've played yet. While I've never been a fan of Resident Evil and am openly disparaging of horror in general, I definitely see the potential for one of these games to deliver a solid survival shooter experience, and the RE2 Remake does it. Conserving your precious few bullets and seeking out that extra hip pouch is great, and it finally comes with kinaesthetically pleasing 3rd-person controls to boot, which they've had mixed success with up to now in the Revelations sub-series.
It's clear that Resident Evil 2 is another gem in Capcom's recent redemption arc which includes Devil May Cry 5 and Monster Hunter World. Street Fighter is still a degenerate hellscape, but having this much positive to say about the company is still refreshing considering their past indiscretions.

Turnabout Storm is a 2011 fan-made crossover web series by NeoArtimus in which Rainbow Dash (from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) is framed for murder and Phoenix Wright (from Ace Attorney) is summoned to represent her in court. The 9-hour movie is presented as a whodunnit in the style of an Ace Attorney investigation set in Equestria and consisting mostly of My Little Pony characters.
In 2013, xXSoundSpeedXx, a Brony Youtuber known for posting playthroughs of MLP fan games posted a series of blind commentaries in which he reacts to and riffs on Turnabout Storm. xXSoundSpeedXx's Youtube channel has since been voluntarily deleted along with these videos.
I was (and still am) no fan of either of these series, but SoundSpeed's commentaries were relatable and entertaining and Turnabout Storm was no exception. Even if you are unacquainted with either series, it's easy to appreciate why people enjoy them, especially with someone as passionate and emotionally invested as SoundSpeed was watching something as faithful to and loving of it's source material as Turnabout Storm.
There's only one other mirror of this content on Youtube that I'm aware of and it was relatively low quality and split into 6 parts (thank you Zero III). I've ripped and normalized that audio, restored the video from the original web series, and put it all together here for your viewing convenience.
NOTE: I am aware of the conflicting aspect ratios, this is how the videos were originally presented.

Yu-Gi-Oh! has almost completely degenerated into Special Summon spam and conventionally banned board wipe spells. The people who complain about "10 Turn Duels" will happily take over 10 goddamn minutes on Turn 1. Apparently control decks like mine "aren't fun to play against" and "prevent them from playing the game". Fuck those people and fuck the creators who turned this game into such an abomination. I'm currently maining an updated Uria, Lord of Searing Flames OTK deck circa 2006 and am currently Gold Rank II. Let me know if you'd be interested in a Deck Tech on it. #IActivateMyTrapCardOutOfSpite
EDIT: I'm now familiar with the combo they're trying to perform with Gossip Shadow and Rhongomyniad. Normally they would transfer Gossip Shadow's materials to Rhongo allowing him to wipe my field, but they mistakenly summoned Rhongo with 3 materials which gives him the effect of being "unaffected by other cards' effects" which includes Gossip Shadow. They spent an awfully long time to put all that crap on the field just to fuck up their board wipe.
Missed releasing this in March for "Transgender Day of Visibility", then in October for "LGBT History Month", and now in November for "Transgender Awareness Week". I really wish they'd add more holidays to the calendar because they don't get nearly enough attention.

Sources: None, cause I'm lazy and can't be asked to dig out links to every little clip I used in an hour-long video. These guys didn't cite anything themselves, so I plead Hitchen's Razor. If you really want to know where I got certain clips from, please DM me on Discord and I'll try to add a link to it below, I may still know where lot of it is, but at this point, this video is a year old and I already can't find everything I used. Sorry.
Disclaimer: The other viewpoints of Youtubers appearing in this video are their own, they should not be assumed to be in agreement in all matters political or otherwise. Similarly, I do not share the views of everyone appearing in this video either. That said, I wholeheartedly take their side on this particular issue.
If you were persuaded by this video, ask yourself why; what did this video communicate to you that you couldn't have figured out for yourself with just a little bit of critical thinking? If you were persuaded by the quantity of people speaking, then you're gullible. If you were persuaded by the race of the speakers, then you're racist.

Note: I know someone's going to bitch at me about the "resisting arrest" point by saying something along the lines of "he clearly wasn't resisting in the video!". You're thinking of ACTIVE Resistance, as you can see from the Use of Force Continuum of I share, there is also PASSIVE Resistance, this is when the Subject is not yet actively fighting or pushing away the officer, but tensing their muscles and refusing to comply. Regardless, as should already be painfully obvious by this point in the video, neither form of resistance prior to the incident justifies what happened. I am simply emphasizing that an overrepresentation of arrests (and by extension, violent arrests) of one demographic is explicable by a culture which encourages people to resist arrest. The same principle holds true for Sovereign Citizens, which are not a racial demographic.
Edit 2/13/2021: This video was edited and posted before badgecam video was leaked. I would now revise some of my statements regarding the officer's culpability in Floyd's death because, as has been established, context matters: youtube.com/watch?v=YPSwqp5fdIw

Well, the Resident Evil series, known for pioneering the horror genre as well as it's old fixed-perspective tank controls, is being continually updated in more ways than one and a string of radically improved sequels, modern remakes, and enhanced rereleases have put the Metal Gear series to shame. I have begun playing the original series I've never before touched to see if the improvements manage to realize the survival shooter gameplay I know can be done justice.
Verdict for the REmake of Resident Evil 1? Certainly not as infuriating as it would be were I forced to endure the original's tank controls. The graphics are far and away better too. But the fixed-perspective still breaks my immersion and interferes, unforgivably, with the survival shooter aspect of the game. Combine that with a pitifully limited inventory space, a constant need to carry weapons, healing items, utility items, and key items, and an overall underwhelming gunplay kinesthetic and it's really not an enjoyable experience. Maybe fun to watch someone else play though.

Note 1: The conventional definition of veganism indeed does not concern itself with "reducing harm", but "reducing exploitation" isn't strictly accurate either: "Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose."
Note 2: I told Vegan Hunter that the "Biomass Pyramid" was "Entry-Level Biology" and then later claimed not to have any knowledge of Biology. This was a misstatement. This more accurately falls under the domain of Ecology, but what I meant to say was that he does not (and should not) require any specialized knowledge to understand propositional logic, and even insofar as the Biomass Pyramid is concerned, the concept is such a simple and ubiquitous idea to make that it's taught in Elementary Science classrooms alongside The Water Cycle.
I hired 5 Fiverr Musicians to cover my favorite part of my favorite song by my favorite band, Dream Theater. This song was shared to me on an "Underrated Gems" thread I started on a forum I used to run several years ago and it not only served as my introduction to Prog Metal, but it is from this song that I borrowed the name which I would give to the character you know as my avatar.

This playthrough is years old and was originally intended as the next installment of my gameplay highlights series, but due to multiple recording issues and getting burnt out on the game I lost all motivation to continue, which is part of the reason why there's no closing sequence. With a newer computer and editing software I've finally stitched together this old footage and recreated the intro I used to use for these videos. Unfortunately, the Zedd remix is copyright claimed now, so his label will be monetizing this video.
