JUGGLING TRUTH Kingdom of God Ministry & Missions 2024-09-09 | The doctrines (teachings) of the Bible, and especially Jesus, are not balls in a juggling act that believers and churches can decide to juggle. If Jesus said, “it is written,” then it, all of it, was written for a reason, and none of it is disposable. It is all essential for a follower of Jesus and for a unified body.Today this unified body is scattered around the world. Locally there is no one true “church,” organization, or denomination. We must endeavor to be unified with Christ and not put so much energy into trying to unify people who are not united with Jesus and his teachings, even if they agree that God is one. The demons even believe this and shudder, but they are not followers of Christ. Just believing does not mean following. You must choose to be obedient and to follow.In Acts 8.12 we see the foundation of the faith and what one must understand and believe if one desires to be a follower of Jesus. (A follower of Jesus must follow Jesus, not just the name, but the man and his teachings.) If we are a disciple of Christ we believe and teach what he did.Acts 8.12 says that “when they believed in Jesus,” which means not just that he existed, or even that he died for mankind, but they believed in what Jesus taught. This means that we must KNOW what he taught in order to believe it. Who determines Christian foundational beliefs? I would think that the Bible determines this. God and Jesus determine what we should believe! Special kinds of thin oils are manufactured and secreted to keep them clean, otherwise they would not work. Could the woodpecker evolve or was or was it designed by a creator?The woodpecker is incredibly designed. It has two toes in front and 2 in back so it can climb up and down trees right-side up or up-side down, and it uses its tail to help balance as a tripod. It is also amazing that between each peck the woodpecker’s eyes open to focus and then close under special eyelids that keep its eyes from popping out with the force of each peck. -- They also don’t get concussions because the brain is tightly attached to the inside of the woodpecker’s skull and there is also a shock-absorbing cushion between the beak and the skull helping to protect the brain. The tongue is also a great miracle. Evolution or creation?The hummingbird is the smallest warm-blooded creature on earth and weighs less than a dollar bill when it is born. It has a specifically designed rotator cuff that allows its shoulder to rotate up to 180 degrees and it can move its wings in a figure 8 pattern. The hummingbird can fly backwards and upside down. Their wings beat from 720 to 5,400 times per minute when hovering, which makes the humming noise, and they can fly up to 200 mph! And this little flying wonder can also shake its head 132 times a second to get the drops of water off when flying in the rain, as well as rotating its head 202 degrees at the same time.
