DIY-How to Make an Iron Throne *for cheap* | Game of Thrones Week | Books and Looks Books and Looks 2017-07-12 | A walkthrough on how we built our own Game of Thrones inspired Iron Throne on a budget. We spent a total of $55 and worked on it over the weekends for about a month.What you'll need:*Andalondeck chair*About 10-15 rulers*2-4 sheets of 1/2 thick purple insulation foam*Sand paper (A sander makes things a whole lot easier too)*Cardboard (we went behind a restaurant and grabbed a handful of boxes)*At least 2 large packs of the legal size 1/8" craft foam (longer than the standard page size craft foam)*Small screws, liquid nails, tape (we also recommend E600)*Latex primer*Black primer paint (MOD PODGE WOULD WORK too. The Beguiled Red Carpet Premiere | vlog + movie review | Books and Looks Books and Looks 2017-06-23 | We were fortunate enough to get invited to the Beguiled red carpet premiere in Hollywood. This is a film adapation of the Thomas Cullinan novel staring Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrel, Kirsten Dunst, and Elle Fanning. The Focus Features film is Directed by Sofia Coppola who won Best Director at the Canes Film festival for this film.Not our best piece of work but we thought we'd throw it up anyway for you guys to come along and share the experience.
