To mark the anniversary of the last steam hauled branch line service coming to an end, last weekend our Ivatt 41312 ran with a commemorative replica headboard from those final days. The Lymington branch runs from Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier and was the last steam hauled branch line service run by BR. 41312 not only worked the branch but actually worked the last day of service before the line went over to electric trains. Join us for our spring steam gala where we will be one again running our Ivatt with this headboard to pay our tribute to those final days.
