Lydia Awour is a Kidogo MamaPreneur who runs her own daycare, Lydears Daycare, in Nairobi, Kenya.

The goal of Kidogo is to improve access to quality, affordable Early Childhood Care & Education and also identify, train, and support female entrepreneurs (MamaPreneurs) to start or grow child care businesses. Because of her business, Lydia has become financially independent and in turn, has helped women in her community go to work because they know their children are well taken care of.
