I love popping in/out throughout the day or the week and adding bits and pieces. So, periodically I'll pop in here and share little snippets of a page that I've been working on in the hopes that you'll see how big pages can break down into small, easy pieces. And maybe just maybe you'll feel inspired to pull out a page and add your own little snippets. mid-year planner check-in | HL DISCS | Creative Journal plan2create 2025-05-11 | It's that time of year - I swear every May I get a little antsy in my planner and start opening my mind to new options. While I have NO complaints about the Aura Estelle I've been using for 2025, I find myself gravitating back to HL discs and am LOVING this latest insert I've designed. I took a little from my original "halfsies" inserts and melded it with the Laurel Denise concept of *actual* half pages, all within a sleek Half Letter size. I am excited to use this the rest of May, and hopefully the remainder of 2025.Meanwhile, I have been missing creative time in my Hemlock and Oak pages, so I'll be doing a little more of that going forward, too. It's not a big change from the Hobonichi Cousin I've been using the last few years, but just the right tweaks for me! Per usual, I do my best to mix some function with the deco and it's fun to see how each page turns out.If you're in a new planner for 2025, give yourself time to work through the changes... each week you'll find yourself more and more dialed in. I love these neutral colors because they ensure a calm, easy feel in my planner, and they all mix and match very easily. In this chatty video, I'm catching you up on my creative journal (little switcharoo here), and sharing every painful step of my creative process, lol. I've jumped from my undated Archer and Olive planner to a beautiful Hemlock and Oak. It was a book bound planner that I slowly deconstructed... first by removing the cover then by ultimately cutting it apart and punching it for discs. I love it's flexibility now and will be doing the same with my 2023 version.I love stamps, and this is the perfect place for me to put them into use. I've tried forever to work them into structured planning, but getting to cut loose here in this planner/journal is so refreshing!
