The Metro Volunteer Program (MVP) is committed to providing the best police support services in Clark County. To meet this goal, we have developed a volunteer workforce that draws on the rich heritage and unique skills of our culturally diverse community. This commitment and dedication extends to the millions of visitors that Las Vegas hosts each year. We aim to improve service by developing a spirit of cooperation, partnering with the community, and becoming the model for volunteer police programs within Clark County and throughout the United States. Volunteers are not utilized to replace sworn or other paid positions within the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, but rather to enhance the agency's efficiency.
