Luxor Mod 2020 is an anniversary mod of Luxor Amun Rising made to celebrate five years of modding in the Spherematchers scene. It's also a tribute to Luxor Mod 2016 by Bobik, one of the first Luxor mods ever made. It's also the first Luxor mod I ever played.
Most of the levels in the game (not including the Challenge of Horus mode) are remixes of levels from various Luxor games, Luxor mods, and other Spherematcher games. I have played every level along with its original reference and compared them side-by-side to see how the dev team recreated each of them in its own special way. Each level is played on its hardest difficulty in their game's main campaign mode (with one exception), so you can see how challenging each one is.
This project took me months to research, play, and record, so I'd really appreciate it if you enjoy the video!

![DDR MAX2 [JP CS] - ULTRA12 Oni Course
Ah, DDR MAX2. The first DDR mix I ever played and the one Im the most nostalgic for. Konami also realized their mistakes they made with the MAX US courses and actually made them make sense (kinda). ULTRA12 is the first course in this series that Ive ever attempted, but it took the longest out of all of them to get.
So, unlike the arcade version of MAX2 with 鬼道, ULTRA12 has a mix of Expert and Challenge charts instead of just Expert charts. MAX2 made some Challenge-only remixes of some songs that are usually easier than the Expert counterpart, so Im not sure what the point of that was. In this course, the Challenge charts are honestly pretty boring but annoying since you cant unlock them to practice until you complete them in an Oni course. Thats made harder since a handful of them are exclusive to this course. On the other hand, the Expert charts are quite fun to play, so the course doesnt suffer too much because of that.
This course took me so long to get. The major kicker was Maxx Unlimited. That song is the bane of my existence, particularly with the outro. I completed this course 8 months ago, and to this day I have never FCd Maxx Unlimited (I have tech FCd it, though). Tsugaru and Kakumei are fun charts, and Paranoia Survivor is actually one of my favorite boss songs. This was actually my first time ever getting to Paranoia Survivor in one of these attempts, so Im very glad I did as well as I did.
I failed so many times in Maxx Unlimited that I made an entire video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEhAY7mvxR8
Final Score: 95.5%
