119 years ago this week, Lusitania embarked on her sea trials which took place over the course of 3 days. The trials were mostly a success with Lusitania easily exceeding her required speed of 24.5 knots but she suffered major vibration issues. These areas of the ship, near the aft in 2nd class, would be reinforced and braced to reduce these vibrations.
