Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete
Boss Battle #17
Zophar Final Form
Part 1
==============================
--► Strategy?
You could play this battle a couple of ways. One way would be rushing the Head with all your strongest attacks. Other way (The way I did it) was to kill all the hands first, then the head. I was trying to make the battle more epic and satisfying this way.
Pre-Battle Preparations: Well, it's not like you can prepare for the battle that much. What you should do is while Lucia is captured, spend your time buffing all your characters up. Why? Zophar is invincible, and he only does 50-175-ish damage per turn. Power Drive, Cryo Shield, Earth Prayer, Speed Storm, Shining Litany, etc. Use Defend to spread out your characters again (I'm sure you could do a better job at it than me).
--►Battle:
Hiro: Again, Triple Sword is just too good! Use it till Hiro runs out of MP, use a Starlight/Silverlight, and keep on using it. Start with one of the outer hands (the closest ones, dark blue skin), then work your way in.
Ronfar: This is a prime example of healing duty. You WILL want EVERYONE healed, no matter what. Zophar CAN kick your *** easily. Miracle Litany is essential in reviving dead characters but ONLY use that when no one needs healing. TRANQUIL LITANY TAKES PRIORITY. You can use Saint Litany whenever everyone is green.
Jean: Again, be smart, and use White Dragon Protect, I didn't use it until I killed off all the arms (stupid me D:). It REALLY, and I mean, REALLY helps reducing damage done to your party. Otherwise, use Slam Dance and Blue Dragon Palm. I had trouble keeping Jean alive though. D: Oh, I used Blue Dragon Fist just for kicks. You could always use that instead of Blue Dragon Palm if you want.
Lemina: Her prime attack spell of choice is Catastrophe (a pretty kick *** spell). Every few turns, should should buff Hiro with a Power Drive, and then continue to use Catastrophe. It'll be her job to kill off Zophar's Inner Right Arm (his right. The leftmost one). Silverlights should be used whenever she's out of MP.
Leo: Well, his damage output isn't that great compared to Hiro, but at least he's doing some damage. Flash Blade FTW. You could use Leo to be your chemist and have him throw Starlights/Silverlights at your characters.
-----
Man, he has too many hands/arms, so he has too many attacks. Focus all your attacks on one arm at a time. To be honest, I don't want to list out all of his attacks, so I'll copy and paste this from a FAQ on GameFAQ's by Charat-Chan who credited JL:
► FALSE LEFT & RIGHT HANDS
Attacks one person each
► REAL LEFT HAND
Round 1: Heals one body part.
Round 2: Absorbs HP, heals all parts.
Round 3: Absorbs MP, heals all parts.
Round 4: Attacks one person.
Round 5: Dispel Magic on one character.
► REAL RIGHT HAND
Round 1: Area Ice attack
Round 2: Area Wind attack
Round 3: Area Electricity attack
Round 4: Area Fire attack
Round 5: Area Earth attack
► HEAD
When light in middle is shining red, it will attack one person + status attack.
When head is filled with electricity, will attack one person.
When light in middle is shining green, it will attack one person.
When light in middle is shining white, it will cast Erase Magic.
When face is moving, it will do a killer blow (7000+ damage).
When light in middle is shining yellow, it will attack one person.
When light in middle is shining blue, it will cast Meteor Shower on the entire party.

Quite a set of attacks that Zophar has, huh? Knowing that, Zophar is still pretty difficult. Rushing the head is probably easier than taking out all the arms, but you could fight it however you want.
Just have fun, haha.

- What is Synthesia?
Synthesia is a game that can help you learn how to play the piano using falling notes.
- How does it work?
Synthesia reads MIDI files and generates the falling note (and sheet music) display from it.
- Where can I find more songs?
Search for your favorite song name or author and add the word MIDI to the search. Use Google/Yahoo/etc.
- What are the system requirements?
A Windows PC or Mac made in the last 5 years is usually plenty.
More details can be found at their website, posted above.
Notes about these videos: I did not make these MIDIs, thus I cannot control what color they appear as when they are being played through Synthesia. Most MIDIs are color coded to separate the left hand from the right hand, but some are not.
Regarding requests, it is best if you download the game yourself and look for the MIDIs yourself. It gives the best result as the game is not only free, but also easy to use. Plus, you dont need to wait on me to upload a video of your requested piece. Synthesia - 「The Myth」 - Endless Love [100% Speed]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/bvIVtWq82Jo/mqdefault.jpg)
