Strategy?
Hiro: Cross-Boomerang is his only damaging move, and that's the only attack he'll be using.
Ronfar: Saint Litany on all characters. After that, I started to use Shining Litany in order to deal some damage, otherwise heal whenever necessary.
Jean: Equip her with the White Dragon Crest and an elemental crest (I used the Thunder Crest). When the Black Fiend's wings have purple air coming out, then use White Dragon Protect. Otherwise, have Jean use her elemental crest to do some damage.
Lemina: Ice Arrows. That's all. Nothing else but Ice Arrows.
Lucia: Whatever.

The boss can be annoying if you don't have any protection against status ailments. Absolutely make sure that Ronfar and Lemina have protection against paralysis. The other characters don't matter as much. I gave both of them Chiro Crests in order to make them act first, since they were the most important.
Be sure to spread out your characters in order to reduce the damage from the Zone attacks.
Also, the boss's MP sucking attack can get annoying. If needed, use a Starlight on your characters that need MP (mainly Lemina and Ronfar). After Hiro and Jean run out of MP, just have them defend.
