LUMIX S5 - "Made In Merano" filmed by Adam Pretty
Growing up in Merano, in the shadow of the mountains of South Tyrol, inspired Aaron Durogati’s love of skiing and flying. As a boy, Aaron's spirit of adventure was fuelled by his uncle’s stories of exploring the mountains. He dreamed of skiing the impossible looking steep lines visible from his schoolyard. Home in Merano is where Aaron's dreams of becoming an athlete began and where I had the privilege of spending time with him and his family. It was here I documented his intensive training schedule and the planning involved in the run-up to his first descent attempt on a new ski line – scouted from the air from his paraglider and one he dreamed about as a boy.
