You can see in the video that the stripes move very slowly up the screen. Fluorescent lighting is doing this. If I change to sunlight or anything other than fluorescent, the problem is gone. Furthermore, high contrast scenes like in this video cause the stripes to be more pronounced, making the video almost unusable.

Changing White Balance and other camera settings does not solve the problem. The only solution I've found is to change the lighting source, which is not always possible.

I've not had time to revert back to my original Japanese camera firmware to see if the problem exists. I currently am using hacked firmware that allow me to use the camera in my native tongue of English. Despite having lived in Japan 16 years, I still prefer my camera to work in English, not Japanese!

NOTE: My GF-1 was using the Panasonic 20mm pancake lens when shooting this video.
