Ishikawa Group Laboratory | Lumipen 2: Illumination and Magic by Dynamic Projection Mapping @IshikawaLab | Uploaded 9 years ago | Updated 9 minutes ago
A second version video of the Lumipen 2 (Dynamic Projection Mapping) has been performed. The first performance is optical illusion, which looks a hole or a protrusion. The second performance shows human body cut magic with a separated hand moving freely. Lumipen 2 technology is robust high-speed tracking against illumination changes for Dynamic Projection Mapping, and is realized by high-speed control of an optical axis of a projector with rotational mirrors. The high-speed optical axis control to a target object generates smooth motion of Projection Mapping content including the target object. Lumipen 2 can increase dynamic scenes of Projection Mapping performance, and pioneer new media art.
