I haven't seen a video directly comparing these at any point, so here's a video comparing the two.
The first clip is the normal mansion, while the second clip is the European Hidden Mansion which is flipped left-to-right and Luigi's Poltergust has a much faster suction speed (can take away more ghost HP in one successful pull), alongside other differences--but for this particular video, we're just focusing on the poltergust's suction power.
The US/Japanese versions also increase the Poltergust's suction power in the Hidden Mansion.
However, the Hidden Mansion in North American/Japanese versions is not flipped, HP amounts of enemies are not adjusted, the Boolossus battle is as normal instead of having Luigi ride the Poltergust, hearts are as abundant as the standard mansion and not changed in locations, and the Europe Hidden Mansion's darkness is the standard darkness of the other versions and it doesn't change between standard and hidden mansions for those versions.
It takes about 12 seconds to finish off Neville in the original mansion while it takes about 6 seconds in the European Hidden Mansion.
