Making use of the Floor 1.5 glitch (found by NG4MER I think) and a new glitch that skews your angle when you're on the 1.5th floor.

Skewing makes your collision all wonky, which is why I was able to fall through the invisible "floor" there. Depending on certain objects you rub against and how severe Luigi is skewed, you can also jump up to the floor above the visible floor.

Of course, beating Bogmire early is completely pointless since the game screws up and refuses to open the door to Area 2. At least we know it's possible now, right?

About the skewing glitch:
When you're on Floor 1.5, if you get hit by something that can touch the ceiling like a bat, a mouse or one of the pans in the kitchen, it will sometime mess up and skew Luigi's angle. Sometimes it will realign him, but it can also fail to realign Luigi back to the floor and leaves him in the skewed position, with Luigi's collision data adhering to his new angle. However, it is required to use the Sidestep control scheme, as you lose your skewed angle almost immediately in Standard.
