A full 74 star playthough of the kaizo hack, Lug's Tiny Torture by Lugmillord completed entirely without savestates. This was played on the default version as opposed to the Lite and Hardcore versions.
The bulk of the game honestly wasn't too challenging since the levels are small so taking time to learn the layouts and practice each section didn't really take much time. But then throw in a few abysmal stars (looking at you C3 Star 5) and I almost wanted to give up entirely. The completionist in me said so otherwise though lol.
The cube stages were a pretty cool idea, but my favourite aspect of the game was the post game known as Course 7's Baratrok Sphere. For star 2, there's a trick to activate the timer, fall off the level, then just go to the end and it rewards you with the star regardless of how long it took. I decided to complete the star the intended way of getting under 15 seconds and definitely not because I forgot the trick was a thing, no way. Baratrok 100 Coins was by far the hardest star in the game, but I had a surprisingly good time with it. It only took a little over an hour which was somehow less time than the aforementioned C3 Star 5, and my previous attempt before success ended at 91 coins in the red coin section. All in all, a very decent hack!
