Things aren't looking good in the town of Belgen as it's basically under siege by the monsters who are demanding offerings of the girls in the village as "ransom" (i.e.: sacrifice) with one girl in particular having been chosen.
Since, as RPG heroes, we cannot stand for such a thing, we make our way out to give the monsters a piece of our mind... after two mini-dungeons to get the key to where we need to go and cross over to the island where we need to reach.

Time for my first seed of a new Randomizer from a game that I thought I knew more than I did. So yeah, theres a lot of salt.
But thats more entertainment for you guys.
Be warned, though, this ones long.
It also starts off with those who joined in co-comms also rolling and running their own seeds, but recording ran so long that they moved on to other projects, so theres some unusual overlap. But I dont mind as this would have had a lot of empty commentary otherwise.

Its a bit of a trek to get from the small shrine to Odel as the world map now feels a lot bigger than its ever been. A stopover in the village of Ranq leads us to believe that something supernatural is afoot in the nearby mountain tunnel, but that would be half right as all it takes to get through is simply knowing the right way forward.
At Odel, we learn that the man were looking for has gone off to another village and finding the means to reach said village will require a fetch quest to yet another village and more. But how bad could it possibly be?
Also of note is there are items in Railes lab within the lockers that I forgot to pick up as I didnt even think to search in those. But I likely missed a lot of hidden goodies so far anyway.

Our first SMZ3 chaos race in a good while courtesy of Yosh calling for one at the start of the year, so we can put the blame entirely on him.
Except for the fact that I managed to roll crap seeds for all five of us.
Surely, we are cursed.
NOTE: For Part 1, Nova accidentally moved his game screen right as we started, so its out of place for the first few moments until he re-positions it to where it ends up.

Id wager this is the one dungeon that made more people rage quit the original version of this game more than any others. Not only is it huge with plenty of dead ends, but finding the right combination of switches to reach the end is a pure guessing game even if youre not looting all of the treasure.
Thankfully, defeating the guardian at the top opens the way for us to reach Doom Island and-

The nice thing about this kind of quest is the person were following left a trail in the form of their ship docked at the same island we have to explore. Of course if you think you can just loot the island for its Alumina and leave Brant behind, we have to help him in order to get one of the pieces.
And dont make the same mistake I did (twice), that treasure chest is not worth the effort!

While Viese doesnt get a full Episode to herself, she is able to form a pact with another Mana and provide the Huffin we need alongside some other handy items that we can use over the course of the entire game.
Oh, and we get a glimpse of our title character, but more on her later.
And, since Noin wont let us return to the bridge to see if I can find another Super Nue, we make our way through the sewers to the Lighthouse.

We have our own ship!
The good news is we have most of the world open to us, have an idea as to where to go, and can visit new places to upgrade our gear well beyond whats expected.
The bad news is the world map of this game is huge with no way (that I know of) to look at the whole thing and encounter rate while on the ocean is utterly ridiculous. And remember, this hack has it halved by default!
