Born in Sydney, Australia but spending a few of her teenage years in London, Lucy fell in love with all things music. After learning guitar and recording her first songs this love led her to move back to London in her early 20’s and within weeks of arriving she was offered a support slot at the Q Awards opening for Jamie Cullum at the HMV Forum.

Since moving to London, Lucy has been making music and touring with artists and writers around the UK and Europe. Her music has been described as ‘heartfelt baroque pop’ and carries influences from the likes of Jessie Ware & London Grammar.

In March 2017 Lucy released ‘Going Home Broke’ her heartfelt magnum opus that not only revealed a new side to her songwriting but her subject matter too. “Since moving from Australia almost five years ago, my life has been a whirlwind of highs and lows which ultimately lead to my breaking point” she explains, “I had allowed disappointment, frustration and failure to take over my life and it had to end”. And it’s this defiant attitude that makes the EP such a confident statement of intent. It’s these experiences and the heartache that followed that form the substance of Lucy’s music.

Her earnest lyrics and unique style have already seen her receive critical acclaim from the likes of The Independent, The Metro, The Line of Best Fit and Clash, who have praised her music, as well as rack up plays on Spotify, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio.
