When Justin Castles, founder of Lucky Straps, was contacted by Canon Australia to create a limited edition EOS R5 camera strap, he knew it had to be the best camera strap they’d ever made.
As ‘luck’ would have it, Justin and his team had been working on a prototype camera strap design for over a year. The prototype strap was uniquely designed to fit the narrow and lightweight bodies of modern mirrorless system cameras, without compromising on the strength and comfort required to support large lenses that could be attached to the camera.
In this video Justin describes the design and hand-made manufacturing process behind the limited edition Lucky Strap Canon EOS R5 camera strap. Produced in Bendigo Australia, only 800 Lucky Straps EOS R5 camera straps were made as part of an exclusive Canon EOS R5 pre-sale offer for Australian and New Zealand consumers.
