If you some of you OTH fans didn't realize, this would have been possible. Mark gave an interview saying Chad was willing to do several episodes/an arc, but Mark decided to limit him to one crappy episode. So...this is what I would've done with that.
It would've been amazing to have Lucas be a part of the Nathan rescue/Dan death. But obviously he can't come back to town the hero. I wanted him to be exposed to just how shattered the OTH world had become while he was gone.
BL plays a part in this too, and this is basically all I would've wanted from them. The bottom line-to call each other out on their crap and become friends again. Before Lucas left they were barely close. Lucas as a character had faded, and after he left we got to watch Brooke get completely OOC and ruined. I feel like as well as they knew each other, they could've been the ones to wake each other up.
