For generations, the pegasi have crawled across the ground like rats, denied their rightful place in the skies, their wings unable to hold their mundane, magic-less bodies aloft. But now, the magic has returned, and the skies are theirs to fly once more. And with the return of flight comes the return of the greatest flyers to ever grace Equestria's skies.
Here's a symphonic metal track I contributed to the Ponies at Dawn album, Wanderlust! I wanted to write something that was melodically and harmonically simple, but told its story through dynamics and instrumentation.
