North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson and the law firm he hired said they will provide an update about their "investigation" into a CNN report about the lieutenant governor.

Mark Robinson for Governor campaign announced that it hired the Binnall Law Group to look into the scathing CNN report that was released on Sept. 19.

This week, the law firm said it will hold a press conference, stating "the Binnall Law Group's investigation is focused on CNN's salacious, coordinated and disgraceful smear campaign and election interference against North Carolina's Republican nominee for governor."
