The Beijing Railway Station During Spring Festival Rush! (Dont Go Here) @GoYvon

GoYvon Every year, millions of people take the train to go back home to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Long before people travel tickets are sold out. Train stations are flooded with people and it is a complete mad house.

I went to the Beijing Station to show you what it's like. This was about a week prior to New Year's Eve. Everyone in Beijing starts to leave about a week before the actual spring festival, in order to make it back home on time. Every day leading up to spring festival just gets crazier and crazier. If you are traveling in China during this time, be sure to plan ahead or you will be stuck.

I went to the Beijing Station to show you what it's like. This was about a week prior to New Year's Eve. Fantastic day at Universal Studios Beijing

GoYvon 2023-02-23 | I finally got around to visiting the "new" Universal Studios in Beijing and Miguel and I had an awesome time. We spent the night at the hotel in order to have early access. It was worth it and we got to ride most of the rides twice because the lines were really short.

In fact, we were having too much fun and didn't end up filming a lot. So, this video is just a taste of what it is like to visit the park.

After Harry Potter World, we started to really enjoy the park and forgot to film.... lol It was a fantastic day and I think you will enjoy the park if you visit!

Finally showing you the most famous lakes in China

These are probably some of the most famous lakes in China. We really enjoyed our time walking through the park and visiting all the lakes. Jiuzhaigou is really worth visiting and the best time to visit is late spring or fall.

Is this Western China or USA?

GoYvon 2023-01-08 | I took a trip to Songpan and visited different areas including Erdao Hai (二道海). Miguel said it really looked like the west coast of the states and was really surprised by the scenery. I thought the lakes were really beautiful and enjoyed walking around the forest. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm came into the valley and we had to end our video a little early.

I was kicked out of my house because of Miguel

GoYvon 2022-10-19 | It seems the summer flew by quickly and unfortunately, my summer wasn't that great this year. I had to leave my house for a week because Miguel had to do a home quarantine, which was a real hassle.

Why is everybody in Hangzhou excited about these?

Moving into my tiny hutong house

GoYvon 2022-05-04 | A while back I was walking in one of Beijing's many parks when I noticed many women wearing a Hanfu and taking photos. I've always found many of the Hanfu very pretty, and always wanted to take photos wearing one. I was never sure though if it would be okay for me to wear one, because I am a foreigner. But after seeing the women in the park I decided to ask my friends if it would be okay for me to wear it. My friends said it would be fine, but I wasn't sure how other people would react.

I tried being a hipster in Beijing

Is Baidus Self-Driving Taxi the future of transportation?

GoYvon 2022-03-31 | I was invited to Baidu's headquarters to ride in their self-driving robo taxis. This was an interesting opportunity because I have never been in a self-driving car before and I found the experience both strange and fascinating.

I also did a little research because I was interested in how long people have been working on self-driving tech and it turns out work in this field has been going on for a long time!

Is it easy to be Vegetarian or Vegan in China?

Covid is back in China: Worse than in 2020?

Beijing Countryside: A day trip to Longqing Gorge

GoYvon 2022-02-23 | Although Beijing has a lot to offer as a city, but all the tall buildings, the traffic, and the people can be overwhelming at times. That's why it is so nice that you can be in nature within 1 to 2 hours. I needed to escape the city for a bit and decided to visit Longqing Gorge (龙庆峡) in Yanqing district, Beijing.

Singles Day in China on November 11 - Frenzy at the JD Headquarters!

GoYvon 2021-11-12 | I had the opportunity to visit JD's headquarters before Singles' Day and I couldn't pass it up. It was not what I expected, but I really enjoyed learning more about the company and seeing behind the scenes before the biggest shopping event in the world. Singles' Day is the largest shopping event in the world each year and companies like JD make billions of dollars in sales. The PR team invited a few youtubers to see behind the scenes and make a video about the event and company.
