A HUGE thank you to the driver for letting me grab some footage
Ever since we got this truck, I’ve been wanting to grab some video of it and finally got the chance today as I caught this driver wrapping up a Trash route in Saint Charles. Saint Charles is one of the last sticker towns in the area, so there’s still a good bit of manual bins to go along with the carts. After working out the kinks that almost all new trucks come with, this seems to be overall a good unit and has some real positives. It was ordered in the sitdown configuration, which seems to be all new LRS trucks, regardless of line of business or Mack versus Battle. I haven’t had the chance to drive this one yet, it if my truck is down and it’s available i’ll have to take it for the novelty of driving a Battle at least once. Overall, it was cool to get some video of this and get back to filming after a 2 month hiatus, but being a real garbage man pays a lot better so….
