Lucas has had it with his school bullies. For years now they have been tormenting him, calling him ridiculous names, taking his money, and beating him to the floor. Lucas wants to be able to stand strong and fight back, but until he can, has been retreating to a little coffee shop a block away from his school.
On a crisp autumn afternoon he returns, expecting nothing more than his usual black coffee and quiet, but receiving a little more than he bargained for. When he meets the shop’s optimistic new employee Ciera, his life changes forever.

It’s finally here!! I’ve put so much effort into creating this short film, so I really hope that you enjoy it! The storyline was actually inspired by the song used at the end, “Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop”.
Building the coffee shop set took a lot of time, but I think that it has payed off! Please let me know your thoughts in the comments!
