Twelve year old, Sophie, has always dreamed of being an actress. So when she's given the opportunity to audition for a TV commercial, and a chance to make her dreams come true, she's not just happy she's over the moon happy.
But then Sophie finds out exactly what she'll be advertising: the delectable, ever-popular brownies from Beatrice's Brownies. The brownie chain store just so happens to be the number one competitor to It's Raining Cupcakes- the cupcake shop owned by her best friend's family.
Sophie tries to keep the specifics of her budding acting career under wraps from her BFF, Isabel, as she doesn't want their friendship to crumble faster than a stale brownie. But like sprinkles on a cupcake, secrets can be difficult to contain. With the help of a lovable supporting cast, can this potential leading lady manage to follow her dreams and hold on to her best friend?
