McKayla, Brandon, and Drake have all been under the same pressure. it's like a love triangle, McKayla loves Brandon, Brandon loves McKayla, and Drake is deeply in love with McKayla. But ever since the incident with Brandon and Holly, McKayla doesn't even want to look at Brandon. So ever since then Drake has been protecting McKayla and he's been around her like a puppy dog trying to win her over. But when Brandon asks McKayla to talk to him during her free period everything changes, especially for Drake and his chance with McKayla. Brandon and McKayla start dating again, and when Drake finds out he knows that his chances with McKayla are over, so he gets all depressed. A few weeks later McKayla has been so busy with her "boyfriend" that he hasn't had time for Drake nor for her best friend, Janice. Janice starts feeling left out and so does Drake, in this case they feel like the third wheel.
