Vent mv about my ex boyfriend of two years, while I wanted things to work out the sad reality of it was that the relationship was toxic and just wasn't for me. I'm doing far better now, all I had to do was realize that loving myself has to be my first priority.

Edit: A lot of you have been confused about what happened between us, and while I don't want to go into extreme detail, here's some ✨highlights✨ of how things went down. So, as I said previously, this is a vent mv about my ex boyfriend of two years, who was a very toxic partner to me and would often make me cry during our relationship due to him not supporting me. There was a lack of equal effort in our relationship, and eventually it got to the point where he'd become jealous of friends I was close to and ask me to stop talking to them. This is a HUGE red flag in relationships as abusers will often try to alienate their victims from their families and loved ones in order to have more control. While our relationship was not abusive in the slightest, I have been a victim of dating violence in the past and I didn't want to stick around after seeing all the red flags I had been so blind to earlier in our relationship. After the breakup, I had asked to go no contact and he texted my family trying to paint himself as the victim and get them to intercede on his behalf. Additionally, he proceeded to barge into my apartment and expose me and my roommates to COVID after I had specifically told him that I did not want to see him because his family had COVID currently and I am immunocompromised. The complete disregard of boundaries and the disrespect he showed at the end of this relationship is completely astounding to me and honestly disgusting. I know I made the right choice for my own safety and happiness, and I have been doing so much better since the breakup. Thank all of you guys for your kind words and support, it means the world to me 💛
