It appears Nora isn’t getting away that easily. Torvald has read Krogstad’s letter, and is absolutely fuming, revealing his ugly true colours. Torvald loses it, and begins insulting & verbally abusing Nora, blaming her father for raising her this way. Torvald could care less that Nora did it all to save his life, he only cares how it affects him, and believes Nora has ruined his life. Torvald’s fit of rage escalates, while Nora continues taking it all in. Torvald plans that everything will seem to go on as before, Nora will stay in the house for appearances sake, but their marriage is over, and she is not allowed to be around the children. Soon, Helene unexpectedly brings another letter, this time addressed to Nora from Krogstad. Torvald snatches it, and reads that due to being reformed by Kristine, Krogstad regrets his blackmail, and has sent her IOU back. Torvald is over the moon, thinking only about how he is saved. While Nora appears completely numb. After destroying all the letters, Torvald immediately flips around, and gushes over Nora again, claiming he’s “forgiven her” and everything will be okay from now on. Little does he know, something has changed in Nora, and it’s not just her outfit. Let’s just say, these two have a LOT to talk about, seems this just might be the final straw for Nora…
