Had to wait until Christmas Eve to publish this, because it takes place during Christmas Eve, so. Yeah! 😆🎄❤️
What started as a fun game of hide and seek with the children quickly goes downhill when Krogstad returns to the house. This time, to speak with Nora. And knowing his past, it can’t be for any good reason. Krogstad is determined to keep his job at the bank, and believes he has ways to make Nora use her influence to convince Torvald. Nora doesn’t believe she has to do anything for Krogstad besides continue to give him the loan payments. Until it’s revealed that either ghosts are real, and Nora’s father signed the document three days after his death, or Nora forged her father’s signature to get the loan, and Krogstad knows all too well about committing forgery. Nora’s spiral begins, and only gets more intense when Torvald once again talks down to her, and reveals that Krogstad’s dishonesty is what corrupted his family. Nora is terrified that will be her fate, but she had good intentions, right? Too bad the law doesn’t take motives into account. And Torvald, even less so.
